DAGE-Signed Bronze-Mounted Ceramic Bowl
A delicate and colorful ceramic bowl made by french pottery artist Louis Dage (1878-1963). It is bronze-mounted and hand painted in blue, orange and green colors; also decorated with bronze leaves and a bronze rim, as well as a small beetle on the lid. France, beginnings of XIX century. In very good conditions according to the age. Some gilt parts are gone. Some small chips at the top.
